DECEMBER 2005
GUESTBOOK
SATURDAY, December 31, 2005 - Happy New Year everyone. The site counter and guestbook are now functioning. Please feel free to send your messages to the Treude's through this site often. I would like to thank my buddy Bob Strick for helping me with the new site design.

TRANSFER REQUESTED
FRIDAY, December 30, 2005 - The annual Betzal(a) / Joslin holiday party was held tonight in West Chester. Colin and Erin met the rest of Grandfather Betzals’ extended family and immediately requested to be transferred out of the family. “These people are too nutty for our taste” exclaimed Colin. By the end of the night the twins realized they fit right in and withdrew their request for a transfer. Thanks Cousins Kathy and David for hosting until 3:30 A.M.

BABIES' FIRST CHRISTMAS
SUNDAY, December 25, 2005 - Erin and Colin’s first Christmas has come and gone and they received many nice gifts. The Christmas outfits were a huge hit and the twins got to see just about all of the Treude and Betzal family. The twins love traveling to visit family and friends and requested to celebrate Christmas every week of the year. They are now lining up their schedule for New Years Eve parties. Click here to e-mail Erin Treude if you are having a party.

TWO WEEKS OLD & TWO DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS
FRIDAY, December 23, 2005 -
Santa is coming and we cannot wait,
we have been very good since December the 8th.
Perhaps Santa will bring us a cool new game,
hopefully Uncle Greg doesn't buy us anything lame.
We hear Grandfather Treude is buying us new clothes,
but all we really want is for Aunt Linda to stop picking our nose. It's our first Christmas and we are just happy to be here,
so let's all raise our tall glasses and chug a cold beer!!!

Anyone have a shot of vodka for Cousin Timmy?

Heeyyyy Crazy Karen

HERE WE ARE IN ASTON
SATURDAY, December 17, 2005 - Colin and Erin made their 1st trip to A-Town this afternoon. They were amazed at the towns beauty as well as all the drug stores and banks. It was grandma’s birthday celebration and the only gift she needed was to see her new grandchildren again. Nick’s roast beef sandwiches, homemade potato soup and Melrose Diner butter cream cake was on the menu for lunch. Colin and Erin need to practice their singing of “Happy Birthday” but otherwise they were pleasant as could be.

COUSINS VISIT
WEDNESDAY, December 14, 2005 - The Joslins stopped over to see Erin and Colin tonight. The twins loved being held by Cousin Colleen and Sarah is very happy that she is no longer the youngest cousin.

THEIR FIRST NIGHT AT HOME
TUESDAY, December 13, 2005 - The twins spent their first night at home last night and enjoyed being awake for most of it. Well, actually they conspired to alternate their awake and asleep time so mommy and daddy could spend more time with each of them. Pat and Bryan are now interviewing candidates to baby-sit at night and will pay that person $1,000 an hour. Contact Pat or Bryan if you are interested in applying.

FAMILY PHOTOS
December 12, 2005, Sunday - The twins are coming home tomorrow. Bryan asked the night shift nursing staff if they would come home with them so he and Pat could continue their uninterrupted 8 hour restful night slumbers. They just laughed and wished Pat and Bryan luck.

DAY TWO, MY GOODNESS THESE ARE BIG TWINS
FRIDAY, December 9, 2005 - Three inches of snow covered the grounds of RMH this morning and a full head of dirty blonde spiked hair covers Colin’s head. Little Erin looks like a small peanut next to her big brother Colin. Grandfather Treude paid a visit to the twins this afternoon and got a little nervous when any of the visitors held the babies while standing up. Luckily there were no fumbles. The babies are enjoying their naps (21.5 hours a day), feeding time (2 hours a day) and awake time (.5 hours a day). Sounds like a wonderful life! Dr. Kuroki told Pat and Bryan the "Treude Twins" are the biggest twins she ever delivered. Pat is now mobile and plans to start practicing her modeling poses. She should be ready for some web site pictures soon.

THE TWINS ARE HERE !!!

THURSDAY, December 8, 2005 - Because of the impending snow storm, Patti Ann pushed her routine doctor’s appointment up one day. She was a bit surprised when the doctor told her the twins are ready to come out NOW. Bryan rushed to the hospital from work and was at Pat’s side during the birth. Colin Bryan was 1st out and Erin Colleen followed, both at 6:53 PM. Dr. Helen Kuroki performed the c-section at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Colin treated the nursing staff to a nice pee spray as they cleaned him up. Mom, Dad and the twins are all doing wonderful. Pat would not let me take her picture because her face was too swollen. CONGRATS to all the TREUDE’S and BETZAL'S!
