SUNDAY
May 28, 2006–
Erin and Colin were party hopping today. The first stop was at
Dave and Kim's and the second stop was a nap in the new Treude
family mini-van on the way to Uncle Jack's. Upon arrival, the
twins got to show off their new patriotic outfits compliments
of Jen Wheeler. The twins big bright blue eyes, along with their
cute outfits gave all the guests the urge to hold the babies while
daddy ate all the hamburgers.
We always knew Terry (McGee) McGough was funny, but Colin reinforced
that today with his non-stop laughing at Terry. His belly laugh
is a must hear so perhaps we'll work on getting it on video for
this web site soon.
LOVE
IS IN
THE AIR
FRIDAY
May 26, 2006–
It looks as though Erin has found her 1st boyfriend. Will Timar
is a few months older but appears to be quite the charmer. You
can just look in their eyes and know that they are truly happy
being in love. Congrats to the new
lovebirds Erin and Will. Colin on the other hand is enjoying
the single life being a mama's boy.

PUT
ON YOUR SUNDAY BEST KIDS, WE'RE HEADED TO WAWA
SUNDAY
May 21, 2006 -
Uncle Jack (along with Barb Eisler) visited with the twins today.
Since they are both teething and the sun was a shining, we took
a walk to the nearby Wawa to get hoagies. Erin opted for the turkey
club shorty with light mayo (must have been the piggy comment
on May 8th) and Colin enjoyed his foot long meatball parmesan
with extra cheese and a bag of chips, as recommended by his father.

MORE
MAY CELEBRATIONS
FRIDAY,
May 12, 2006– Erin and
Colin spent the day at Uncle Jack's house today. When they were
tired, they slept; when they were hungry, they ate; when they
wanted to play, they did. What a great life!!! Some of Jack's
buddy's came over for lunch and then the rest of the Betzal family
arrived for dinner. The family celebrated a belated birthday for
Grandpa Betzal and mothers day. Erin wanted nothing more than
to stay awake for the entire evening but her eye lids just got
too darn heavy after 8:30PM.

ANOTHER
MONTH OLDER
MONDAY,
May 8, 2006–
Seems like just last month we were celebrating being 4 months
old. My how times fly. Here are some pictures from this past
week. Erin looks like she is starting to pass Colin in the weight
column. We'll keep our eye on this little milk chugging / cereal
eating piggy. It's ok to say that about a female at this age,
right? If not, I'll erase this section and please nobody tell
Erin when she is old enough to understand.
The twins are anxiously awaiting the (Betzal) grandparents return
from the Kentucky Derby. Hopefully they brought some groovy
souvenirs to play with!
Hey mom, what channel is "Leave
it to Beaver" on?
I think some of this cereal made it
inside my mouth
Enough of the mushy cereal, hows about
some cheerio's?
Bath time seems to be getting a little
easier these days
Our FIVE month picture together
Now that I'm done spitting up on your
shirt, can you let your hair down so I can tug on it for a while
mommy?
Hey Pop-pop, what time does the Sixers game start? Opps, wait
a minute, it's the post season, never mind.
IN
CASE YOU ARE HUNGRY....
FRIDAY,
May 5, 2006–
and you are at the Phillies game, just stop by section 323 and
Erin and Colin's Cousin Alexis Betzala will hook you up with
free food and drinks. All you need to do is pay the cashier.
Looking good in uniform Cousin Alexis!
Don't be afraid to give her a
Phillies high five when you see her

SATURDAY,

I had to share these new pictures, ENJOY....
EASTER
SUNDAY
SUNDAY,
April 16, 2006–
The twins enjoyed a five course meal at the Betzal abode today
in celebration of Easter Sunday. Daddy stayed home and ate ice
chips because his lack of tonsils won't allow him to eat much
else. HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!
Pictured on the right and
below: Mrs. Wheels just advised Colin that he cannot poo in
her pool this Sumner, Colin wasn't happy about that rule. Colin
also did not like the rabbit ears his grandmother found at the
dollar store this weekend.
Bottom right: Little Erin is happy as
can be showing off her pretty new Easter dress.
GREETINGS
FROM JAMAICA MON
THURSDAY,
April 13, 2006–
Favorite Uncle Jack was in Jamaica this week with a few friends
and wanted to give a shout out to Ms. Erin and Mr. Colin while
resting and relaxing in the Caribbean. Of course more fun things
were a happening, but just like Vegas, what happens in Jamaica,
stays..... well you know the rest.
If any other family or friends ever want to share fun memories
on Erin and Colin's web site, please do not hesitate to e-mail
the webmaster
with your stories and pictures.
Here
are the latest stats from the pediatrician this week:
ERIN COLLEEN TREUDE is now 24 inches long and is weighing in
at 12 lbs
COLIN BRYAN TREUDE is 26 inches long and is weighing in at just
under the 15 lb mark.
SPRING
IS IN THE AIR
SUNDAY,
April 9, 2006–
Erin and Colin are loving the warm weather days of Spring and
enjoy the neighborhood walks almost as much as their bottles and
naps.
"Dad, grab my flip-flops, I'm going with Uncle
Jack to Jamaica mon, where the weather is always warm"
"Colin, just relax. The weather will be warm here
soon, Uncle Jack's baby pool will be in-service soon"
"WHAT!
The Phillies are 0-4, what gives"
"Erin, you relax.
The Fighten Phils will find their grove soon enough"
FOUR
MONTHS OLD - LOOK WHAT WE CAN DO
SATURDAY,
April 8, 2006–
Four is the number of the prototypical complete family: a father,
a mother, a son, and a daughter. Of course we cannot forget about
the kitties, Charles and Alley. The twins have done a lot since
their three month mark in March. Erin and Colin are both rolling
over, smiling and giggling more than ever and chit chatting like
there is no tomorrow. Of course exactly what they are saying is
debatable, most visitors agree it’s something along the
lines of how great favorite Uncle Jack is. If you don’t
believe me, go visit and decide for yourself.
Erin
and Colin are
MONTHS
OLD TODAY
IMPORTANT
MESSAGE FROM FUTURE FIREFIGHTERS ERIN AND COLIN
SATURDAY,
April 1, 2006–
It is very important that all of you replace the batteries in
your smoke detectors. You know the saying, "change
your clocks, change your batteries". OK, let's keep it
real here. Although you hear this safety tip twice a year, every
year, when was the last time you actually did it??? Heck, mommy
and daddy don't even have smoke detectors in our house, they
don't think they are needed. At the very least, please push
the test button on ALL of your smoke detectors to make sure
they work. And this our friends, ain't no April Fools joke.
9th
ANNUAL SPRING FLING
SATURDAY,
March 25 , 2006–
The twins were passed around like hot potatoes tonight at the
9th Annual Spring Fling. Everyone wanted a chance to
meet and greet Erin and Colin Treude. This was their 1st ever
beef-n-beer and the money raised went to a very worthy cause.
The Knights of Columbus did a fabulous job organizing the event
and it was guesstimated that over 200 people were present. On
behalf of the entire Betzal family, we would like to thank EVERYONE
that attended and/or donated to Colleen's Memorial Scholarship
fund.
FRIDAY,
March 24, 2006– Congratulations
to Lisa (Beaumont) and Tommy Friel. Pat's good friend from
A-Town had a baby girl this morning at the University of Pennsylvania
Hospital. Mom, dad and baby Katie are all doing well. Katie
was born at 8:36 AM, weighed in at 10lbs 7oz and is 23in long.
Wow, and we thought Colin was big.
This means more playmates for Erin and Colin, awesome.
HAPPY
ST. PATRICK'S DAY
FRIDAY,
March 17, 2006– The
St. Patty's Day festivities continued today for the little leprechauns.
The 1st stop of the day was at Albany's Pub in Parkside where
Jan gave the twins fun new hats. Nan and grand-pop took over from
there continuing the celebration at the Treude Pub in Springfield.
Mommy and daddy went out for the night so Erin and Colin celebrated
as if they were on the land of the shamrock green. Irish knit
hats and sweaters and fun Irish drinking songs helped the twins
Irish eyes smile, on this, their 1st St. Patty's Day.

Springfield
Parade March 11, 2006– St. Patrick
used the three-leafed shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to
the pagans of Ireland and Pat and Bryan used the St. Patty's Day
parade in Springfield to explain to the twins the importance of
St. Patty's Day. Happy 5 year anniversary to Pat and Bryan (3/17).
Hope you brought the sunscreen for
the Irish skin
The twins love hanging with their
cousins
OUR
CHRISTENING DAY
SUNDAY,
March 12 , 2006–
Deacon Grandfather Jack led the baptism ceremony today at St.
Francis Church in Springfield. Erin thought she was at an audition
for American Idol as she was very vocal during some of the ceremony.
Colin had just chugged a bottle so it was nap time for him.
Afterwards, over 100 Treude and Betzal family members headed
to Aston-Beechwood Fire
Co. for the after party. "Just
Joe" (formerly Java Joe) provided the delicious food
and Favorite Uncle Jack provided the fire truck rides for all
the kids and Aunt Dawn. Erin and Colin would like to thank everyone
for joining them on their very special day. Hopefully they will
see you all again in two weeks for another special day.

cute they are. Don't you wish you could reach right into your
computer screen to hug them? Happy 3 months!!!
