31, 2007 - January 1, 2008 -Erin, Colin
and Casey hosted a small New Years gathering at home today. Most
of the the Treude's were in bed by midnight except for Casey and
mommy. Casey wanted to celebrate by crying. She was probably upset
that her birth year is now over. Oh well, HAPPY 2008!

and Casey were quite surprised this morning when Santa arrived
at their door step. After a few tears, the twins warmed up to
St. Nick enough to be near him for this photo op. On behalf of

19, 2007-Today
is grandmom's birthday so the family and a few friends went out
for a nice sit down dinner. Erin and Colin are sporting their
new Mickey and Minnie sweaters from Aunt Linda and Uncle Joe.
Casey looked cute too but she is under the table asleep. HAPPY

16, 2007-Erin,
Colin and Casey spent the afternoon at Ava's house where many
of mommy's high school friends were celebrating the Holiday Season.
This picture includes about 1/2 of the kids that were there. I
think it is safe to say mommy graduated from high school that
served very fertile cafeteria food.
THE
TWINS ARE TWO, THE TWINS ARE TWO!

8 , 2007 -Erin
and Colin turned 2 today, that's right - TWO YEARS OLD. The family
and a few friends celebrated today at a Mickey Mouse theme party.
Erin and Colin can't get enough of Mickey these days and would
watch the HOT
DOG song 24/7 if they could. Here is some other news over
the last month or so with Erin and Colin:
Ms. Erin is putting her words together very well making sentences
and asking questions.
Colin is very good with his words when he wants to be but then
speaks "Colin talk" when he tries to put them together.
Erin is still is best audience.
The 1st time the twins climbed the bookshelf mommy yelled at them
and said "GET DOWN". Now they climb the bookcase when
mommy isn't looking and Colin yells "GET DOWN" to himself
but he he doesn't seem to listen.
and probably the funniest of all is Ms. Erin..... She is back
to breast feeding. No, she isn't the one getting fed, she lifts
her shirt and tries to breast feed her doll baby. I wonder who
she is taking after? TOO CUTE. MORE

Word on the street is that Bryan enjoyed 12 hours of sleep every

Treude Kids had a triple celebration today..... Casey's 1st Thanksgiving,
Grand mom and Grand pop's anniversary and the two-day count down
to daddy's arrival home.

AT UNCLE JACK'S

19, 2007 -Well
Daddy is away so the kids must play. Today they headed over to
Uncle Jack's for an afternoon of total craziness. Erin and Colin
are definitely each others best audience. They can entertain each
other for hours everyday. It is amazing how much they can make
each other laugh. Today at Uncle Jack's the twins enjoyed playing
with the voice activated light switch, ping pong balls and chalkboard.
Afterwards they went home to see their baby sister who they missed
very much today.
EAGLES
TAKE IT TO THE SKINS
November
11 , 2007 -All
three Treude kids traveled to Uncle Greg and Aunt Jill's house
today for some football fun. As you can see, Casey LOVES watching
the Eagles games. The Eagles won this one (vs. the Redskins) with
a come from behind victory in the 4th quarter but their playoff
hopes are still very slim.

8 , 2007 -Today the
twins enjoyed the Fall weather by taking a walk and playing with
the leaves. Casey had her 1st doctors appointment - SHE IS UP
TO 9LBS. WOW. She must be trying to catch Colin
but most certainly has a long ways to go.

28, 2007 -Casey
Treude spent her 1st night at home last night. She must believe
sleep is overrated because all she wanted to do was snuggle
with mommy all night long. The twins are adjusting very well
to the new addition and are enjoying their roles as big brother
and big sister.
COUSIN
BRIANS PRIDE
October
28, 2007 -In
September 2006, just two months after his fourth birthday, our
cousin Brian was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes. His family
is very proud of how well Brian has accepted the challenge of
this disease. They are equally proud of how Colleen and Sarah
have helped and encouraged Brian throughout this past year.
As much of a bonding experience this has been, the Joslins would
prefer to get rid of the disease all together.
Today many of Brian's friends and family
gathered at the Art Museum in Philly for a four mile fun Walk
to help support this cause. Research and modern medicine have
made tremendous strides due in no small part to fundraisers
like the JDRF Walk. All of
the money raised today will go directly toward research to find
a cure for Juvenile Diabetes. It is our hope that by the time
that Brian graduates from West Catholic High School this disease
will be completely wiped from existence.
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the #1 non-profit
supporter of diabetes research worldwide. The “Walk to
Cure Diabetes”, which took place today, is their largest
fund raising event. The Joslin's would like to thank EVERYONE
who contributed to team "Brian's Pride" and this this
wonderful event! We'll see you next year.

NEW BABY SISTER
October
24, 2007 -Welcome to the world Erin and Colin's new baby sister.....
CASEY ELISABETH TREUDE (yes with an"s") was born today
at 9:04am. She was double foot breech and wiggled her way out
of the c-section as soon as Dr. Helen Kuroki tapped on her feet.
She came out with her brother's looks and her sister's lungs.
Casey is 7lbs 15 ounces and 20 3/4 inches long, exactly one
ounce bigger than Mr. Colin when he was born and his same height.
Mom and baby are resting comfortably at Riddle Hospital, which
by the way is the same hospital Grandmom works in. Erin and
Colin are loving life at home with Pop Pop and Aunt Jill. The
Treude's and Betzal's are VERY excited about the new addition,

of divisional playoff by the Colorado Rockies this weekend.
